In 2023, Eagleview Capital completed the acquisition of the 104-unit 3430 East Apartments in Columbia, South Carolina, marking our second purchase in the Columbia market. The acquisition was completed through a 1031 exchange, further demonstrating our commitment to leveraging tax-efficient strategies to maximize investor returns.
This purchase underscores Eagleview Capital’s strategic approach of building a regional portfolio to capitalize on economies of scale. By owning and operating multiple assets in the Columbia area, we are able to streamline operations, reduce costs, and apply management best practices more effectively, all of which strengthen long-term performance.
Since taking ownership, Eagleview Capital has undertaken a significant repositioning initiative at 3430 East Apartments. Renovation efforts have focused on both exterior and interior improvements, including modernizing unit finishes, upgrading kitchens and bathrooms, refreshing flooring and fixtures, and addressing deferred maintenance.
